Do I need any coding or technical skills?

No. You sign up, connect your AI subscription by logging in, and copy-paste a URL into your tool. The whole setup takes under 5 minutes.

What AI subscriptions work with AI Proxy?

AI Proxy works with ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, and Gemini Advanced. You can connect one or all of them.

What tools can I use with AI Proxy?

Any tool that supports the OpenAI or Anthropic API, including Cursor, Continue, Cody, Raycast, Obsidian plugins, and hundreds more. If it has a field for an API URL, it works.

Do I need to buy a separate OpenAI API key?

No. That's the whole point of AI Proxy — you use your existing flat-rate subscription instead of paying for API credits.

Do I still need to pay for my ChatGPT/Claude subscription?

Yes. AI Proxy doesn't replace your subscription — it lets you use it with more tools. You keep paying the AI provider directly, and pay AI Proxy separately.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No long-term contracts. Cancel from your dashboard and your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and FPX online banking. All prices are in MYR and exclude 8% SST.

What happens when my free trial ends?

Your proxy pauses until you upgrade to a paid plan. Your account, settings, and connected subscriptions are all preserved — just subscribe to pick up where you left off.

Security & Privacy

Is my data safe? Do you store my conversations?

We do not store, read, or log your AI conversations. Requests pass through to the AI provider and back. We only track usage metadata like request counts and timestamps for your dashboard.

How do you handle my login credentials?

You log in via a secure OAuth flow (similar to “Sign in with Google”). We store encrypted session tokens, never your password. You can disconnect your account at any time.

Is using a proxy allowed by OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google?

AI Proxy routes requests through your own subscription account. You're using your subscription as intended — we simply act as a bridge between your tools and your existing account.

AI Quality & Performance

Will the AI quality be the same as using ChatGPT or Claude directly?

Yes. Your requests go to the exact same models available through your connected subscriptions (GPT-5.4, Claude 4.5 Opus, Gemini 2.5 Pro, etc.). AI Proxy doesn't change, filter, or downgrade responses in any way.

Is there any speed difference?

The added latency is minimal — typically under 100ms. For most use cases like writing, coding, and research, you won't notice any difference.

Are there usage limits?

AI Proxy itself doesn't impose rate limits, but your AI subscription has its own usage caps (set by OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google). These are the same limits you'd hit using the provider directly.

What happens when one AI provider is slow or down?

If you have multiple subscriptions connected, AI Proxy automatically fails over to another provider. For example, if ChatGPT is slow, it routes to your Claude account instead.

Can I choose which AI model to use?

Yes. You can specify the model in your tool's settings (e.g. “gpt-5.4”, “claude-4.5-opus”). Switch models anytime without changing your proxy URL.
